Emily & Travis's City-Wide Engagement Session!

On a recent, beautiful late-Summer Saturday morning we met up with the lovely Emily and Travis for an engagement shoot that proved, with a bit of strategy, you can have photos that reflect both the bustle of downtown as well as a bit of urban solitude, all within a few blocks. Chicago is good that way, and Emily and Travis embraced every bit of it. We bounced around quite a bit, hitting up the courtyard at Fourth Presbyterian Church (where Travis proposed to Emily last Winter), the River Walk, State Street for some iconic Chicago Theater sign shots, and all points in between.  We even found a pop-up cafe where these two book buffs could sit down and read a few passages from their favorite novels. All in all it was an amazing morning, and made us all the more excited to shoot Emily and Travis's wedding next Summer!
