Melissa and Mike Engagement Session

Last weekend we got to spend a lovely autumn afternoon around Chicago's museum campus with recently engaged Melissa and Mike! Melissa and Mike chose this spot not just for its idyllic setting, but also because it happened to be where they first laid eyes on each other while tailgating at a concert at Soldier Field. We absolutely love getting to know our clients and their "how they met" stories, and then being able to reflect that personal history in their engagement shoot. As the resulting photos reflect, these two have easy going personalities, and are all smiles. Really, the perfect couple. We can't wait to see them again next October for their Big Day, but until then we have these shots to tide us over. Congrats to Melissa & Mike— October 2016 will be here before you know it!

Tina & Josh's Scene Shifting Engagement Session!

Last weekend we met up with new pals Tina & Josh on a crisp but sunny Chicago Spring morning to hang out, but more importantly to take some engagement photos. Ever since we had our initial client meeting a few weeks back with these two we've been super excited to work with them — their energy is contagious, their smiles and natural, and they are simply a ton of fun to be around. We began the session at Josh and Tina's neighborhood park so we could get some casual photos of Tina and Josh, as well as their extremely photogenic dog, Walter (yes, Walter had a bow tie on to mark the occasion). From there we were off towards downtown, hitting up the lakefront, Soldier Field and it's surroundings, and ending up on the Kinzie Street bridge. All in all it was an amazing session. Needless to say, we're really looking forward to Tina and Josh's wedding later this Summer!

Jaime & Kevin's Navy Pier Engagement Session!

On a recent, unseasonably warm Sunday morning, we met up with the wonderful Jaime and Kevin at Chicago's Navy Pier for an engagement shoot. Kevin proposed to Jaime at the popular attraction last Summer, so we headed out early in the morning before the park got too crowded to recreate some of the magic. The weather was delightful, the park peaceful, and Jaime and Kevin were all smiles. We started the shoot right at the spot where Kevin popped the question and moved from there around the facility, ending at the tranquil Crystal Gardens. It was a great way to spend a Sunday, and made us all the more excited for Jaime and Kevin's wedding next Spring!
