Melissa & Gordon's Fall Wedding Spectacular!

A few weeks back we had the pleasure of shooting our pals' Melissa & Gordon's idyllic, intimate, and wonderful wedding celebration. These two could not have planned a more personal and seasonably appropriate party, as the late October vibes permeated the proceedings. Their venue, The Byron Colby Barn, served as the perfect backdrop for an autumnal wedding, as Melissa and Gordon filled the space with handmade centerpieces, photos from their life together, and their personal library of paperback books. In a word the whole event felt quite cozy. It being Fall in Illinois the weather is always an x factor, but this particular Saturday was perfect for taking portraits outdoors and utilizing all of the season's natural beauty. All in all Melissa & Gordon hosted an incredible celebration, and we could not have been more thrilled to be there to document it!
