Francis Marie Photography: Looking Into The Past: Sara & Nathan

A while back we had a request to do something we hadn't done before; photograph a civil service ceremony for a couple who really didn't want to have any formal wedding portraits taken. Sort or unconventional, sure, but after spending the better part of the afternoon with Sara & Nathan, it all made perfect sense. These two wanted to keep things intimate, yet natural, and ended up being open to any suggestions we tossed at them. After being around them for just a few minutes we new our job was going to be easy; these two are naturals in front of the camera, even if they'd never admit to it. We're so happy to finally share some of these images, as they really demonstrate a fantastic alternative to traditional wedding photography.
